Spicebox 3/3: Oh Yes! Who doesn`t love festivals? And not to forget festive food.
We designed festive packaging to conjure the emotions of celebration and togetherness during festivals!
Our festive packaging reflects the integrity of the Dabbawala while nascently bringing cultural/religious diversity via colour themes. Our Mumbai Dabbawala transcends the boundaries of all cultures.
We used vivid hues & eye-catching components to invoke the feeling of celebration. And soon the pack caught everyone`s attention in every office it reached, adding to the brand recall.
A core idea so strong that it can be adapted to any festival/occasion. That`s what we create at @yellowucreative.

Spicebox 2/3: One Dabbawala. Five Festive Avatars. Thousands of folks loving and appreciating the character!
It’s hard to not think of Mumbai Dabbawalas when we talk about the Dream City as they have been delivering food to Mumbaikars since 1890. And they deliver Spicebox across Mumbai as well.
To capture their true essence, we illustrated the character jumping with joy dressed in a traditional white outfit and Gandhi cap.
It is illustrated in motion to convey how Mumbai Dabbawalas are always on-the-go to deliver ‘Ghar Ka Khaana’ to you.
Multiple avatars of dabbawala were designed while designing the festive packaging.
Giving a festive spin to a mascot that`s so loved was fun yet challenging and we do love challenges at YUc!

Spicebox 1/3: Wouldn`t you love to have your tiffin delivered in a vibrant packaging that invokes happiness?
Gurmeet Kochhar’s Spicebox was conceived from the idea of providing ‘Ghar Ka Khaana’ to the working individuals who migrated to the city of dreams leaving their home behind.
The Dabbawalas of Mumbai are always in action. They don’t just deliver food but home made love. A marriage of these 2 core insights is the idea behind Spicebox`s packaging!
We incorporated healthy food elements to promote the brand`s motto of `You Gotta Eat Well`. A design which started off as a plain blue frame resulted in a lively and high-spirited packaging which was loved by all!
Every packaging that reached an office, created a buzz about the brand and got more love for @spiceboxin

That`s the approach behind the amazing visual storytelling for Oye Kiddan.
From developing a concept to doing your research to working on your sketch to rendering your character design to finishing it, it’s a long and challenging journey.

Oye Kiddan 5/6 : Oye Kiddan characters illustrated reflect the brand ethos of ‘Fun’ meets ‘Punjabi food’. Our favourite being the Punjabi Maa who is the most energetic & loving, always keeps an eye on every delivery or tags along no matter what!
Depending on the context of the information that needs visual representation, illustrations can help determine the personality of the design at hand. They can convey moods or emotions present in the text, or brand as a whole.
Punjabi Maa, Happy Delivery Guy and Fun Vegetable characters brought our idea to life and how!
